Product stance

Most coding interview tools solve enterprise administration first. DiscussCode starts with the interview itself: one link, one editor, one run button.

The current room intentionally avoids accounts while the collaboration layer is prepared for a production WebSocket server.

Future paid features should add value around the room, not block the room behind signup.

The technical path is Monaco for familiarity, Web Workers for safe execution, QuickJS for JavaScript, and Pyodide for Python.

Realtime editing is temporarily disabled to avoid depending on a demo Yjs server. The next infrastructure milestone is an owned WebSocket relay.
